Hello all and happy summer!
We are in full swing with locals and visitors coming and going, everyone hoping for just a little more rain, and a few extra good reasons to stop by the Squirrel in the next months...
Art Shows in June and July Just one more week to come by and view Steve Durr's wonderful paintings - everyone is enjoying this show tremendously, I highly recommend taking a look! June's show welcomes back Julia March Crocetto, local fiber artist. The exhibit entitled This Place, That Place features samples of the work she created over the last two years of study at UNM in Albuquerque. "This Place" refers to the Susitna Valley and "That Place," her recent time in the desert Southwest. Join Julia at the Second Saturday opening reception on June 14 from 3-5pm. In July, Deroy Brandt from Anchorage will show fly fishing photography. The reception for his show, Ebb & Flow, will be held Saturday, July 12. See below for information about August's group show! September and forward are open, please contact Anita at the Squirrel if you'd like to show your art on our walls.
